HISTORY
The La Lía Tarrazú micro-benefit has been created by the Monge Ureña brothers, third-generation family coffee growers. In the 2007/2008 harvest they made the decision to start a new project, a company to generate added value to their product, being aware of the quality of their coffee, which could reach demanding markets.
It has sought to improve the production of quality coffee over the years, taking into account the altitude, climate and soil, these lend themselves to it. Good agronomic management is carried out on the farm regularly and consistently.
It seeks to have excellent conditions in the plantation without forgetting the balance with the environment, in this way it will be possible to continue enjoying the benefits that the land gives us for the production of a great coffee, with this good management it would be sought that the following generations can continue to enjoy these conditions. Some measures taken to be responsible with the environment: Using as few chemicals as possible, adding organic matter to the soil to generate greater fertility.
